Former hardware designer for Namco, partially responsible for sound for both Pac-Man and Galaxian.

Namco Ltd. board member from 1983 and president from April 2005. After Bandai and Namco's merger, joined Bandai Networks as an advisor in April 2006 and later became executive vice-president. Joined Bandai Namco Games as executive vice-president in April 2009 after corporate restructuring. Became head of the R&D center and CTO in April 2010.
