Michiru Oshima is a classically trained composer and arranger for Japanese Media and the concert hall. Known for Fullmetal Alchemist, Godzilla and Little Witch Academia. She writes music in the style of Golden Age Film and classical music. She works internationally on projects, recording in Tokyo, Paris and Moscow. In 1994 she worked with the NHK Symphony Orchestra on Planet of Life. In the 2000s she recorded many of award-winning works like Fullmetal Alchemist, Mechagodzilla and Year One in the North with the Moscow International Symphonic Orchestra. Since the end of the 2000s, she recorded many of her anime works like Zetsuen no Tempest and Little Witch Academia with the Russian State Cinema Symphony Orchestra, Anime works Xam'd, Sora no Woto and Shirayuki Hime with various Orchestre de Paris and Anime and Game works Aerial Legends and Haikara-san with the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra. She also writes and performs symphonic works for the concert hall.
